Flatbed shipping from Houston
Steel, pipe, machinery and oversized loads move on our own flatbeds — 48 and 53 foot decks, air ride, driven by our own people. No broker sits between you and the truck.
Freight that does not fit in a box truck
Steel, pipe and tubing
Coils, plate, beams, casing and line pipe, secured to spec with chains, straps and coil racks.
Construction materials
Lumber, precast, rebar, roofing and building supply delivered to active jobsites.
Heavy machinery
Excavators, compressors, generators and production equipment, loaded by crane or driven on.
Oilfield and energy
Wellhead equipment, tanks, skids and drilling components across the Gulf Coast corridor.
Oversized loads
Over width, over height or over length. We pull the state permits and arrange escorts when the route calls for it.
Palletized and crated
Anything that loads from the side or the top and does not need an enclosed trailer.
What a flatbed carries
| Equipment | Typical deck | Max legal cargo | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flatbed | 48' | 45,000 lbs | Standard open-deck freight loaded from the side or the top |
| Flatbed | 53' | 45,000 lbs | The same freight when it needs the extra five feet of deck |
| Step deck | 53' | 45,000 lbs | When the load stands taller than a flatbed can carry legally |
The whole fleet runs air ride suspension. The trailer absorbs the road instead of passing it to the deck, which matters when what you are shipping is calibrated machinery, electronics or anything that does not react well to being shaken for six hundred miles.
Weights shown are what our equipment carries. Loads beyond legal dimensions are still movable under permit — tell us the dimensions and we will tell you what it takes.
The truck at your dock is ours
We own the equipment and employ the drivers. When something changes on the road, you hear it from the company moving your freight, not from someone relaying a message.
Dispatch answers directly at (800) 905-4935. No ticket queue, no waiting on a carrier to call a broker back.
The same drivers, trained on the same securement standards, load your freight every time. That consistency is hard to get from a rotating pool of subcontractors.
$1,000,000 auto liability and $100,000 motor truck cargo. Certificate of insurance available on request — ask dispatch and it goes out the same day.
Based in Houston, running the lower 48
Houston puts us inside the Gulf Coast industrial corridor, so short-notice pickups around the port, the ship channel and the refining complex are routine rather than exceptional.
From there we run the contiguous United States. Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma lanes are the ones we cover most often.

Before you call
When do I need a flatbed instead of a dry van?
When the freight cannot be forklifted into an enclosed trailer through the back door. Anything loaded by crane or from the side — steel, machinery, structural materials — needs an open deck.
How is the load secured?
Chains, binders, straps and edge protection matched to the commodity, following FMCSA cargo securement rules. Coils get racks, machinery gets tie-down points, and tarps go on when the freight needs covering.
Do you handle oversized load permits?
Yes. We pull the state permits for loads that exceed legal width, height, length or weight, and we arrange escorts when a route requires them.
Do you ship LTL?
Not in the terminal-to-terminal sense — that is a different business, built on enclosed trailers and consolidation hubs. What we offer is partial truckload on flatbed: your freight shares a deck with one other shipment, moves direct with no terminal handling, and you pay for the space you use.
Do your trailers have air ride?
Yes, on every unit. Air ride suspension lets the trailer absorb the road instead of passing it through to the deck. It matters for calibrated machinery, electronics, instrumentation and anything else that does not react well to being shaken for six hundred miles.
Are you asset-based or a broker?
Asset-based. We own our trucks and trailers and employ our drivers. The truck that shows up at your dock is ours.
